안녕하세요, (재)횃불장학회입니다.
지난 6월 25일은 한국전쟁이 발발한 지 76주년이 되는 날이었습니다.
이번 달 회원님들께 띄우는 안부서신은 국민 가곡 **“비목”**의 탄생 비화와 함께합니다. 작사가 한명희 선생이 ROTC 육군 소위 시절, 전사자만 4만여 명에 달했던 최격전지 백암산 계곡에서 다 썩어가는 나무 푯대와 돌무더기를 발견하고 느꼈던 비애가 고스란히 담긴 시입니다. 16년이 넘도록 자택에서 '호국의 불'을 꺼뜨리지 않고 조국을 위해 기도하시는 선생의 염원이 꼭 이루어지기를 소원합니다.
영상을 가득 채우는 장엄한 오케스트라와 애끓는 첼로 솔로는 FL Studio의 Stretch pro 알고리즘을 거쳐, 61 BPM의 무겁고도 처연한 선율을 미세한 공명의 떨림까지 무결점의 고해상도 오디오로 재탄생시켰습니다. 또한, 숭고한 희생을 기리는 마음이 온전히 닿을 수 있도록 차분하게 영상을 연출하여 부드러운 시 낭독의 목소리에 깊이 몰입하실 수 있도록 준비했습니다.
비록 월드컵 조별 3차전에서 남아공에게 어이없는 패배를 겪으며 온 국민의 뜨거웠던 응원이 무색해진 아쉬운 날도 있었지만, 우리는 아쉬움을 뒤로하고 다시 내일을 향해 현실을 걸어가야 합니다.
7월 한 달도 횃불장학회 회원님들의 가정과 일터에 평안과 축복이 가득하시기를 진심으로 기원합니다.

Hello, this is the Torchlight Scholarship Foundation.
June 25th marked the 76th anniversary of the outbreak of the Korean War.
This month's greeting letter to our members comes with the untold story behind the creation of the national classic song, "Bimok" (Wooden Tombstone). It is a poem that fully captures the sorrow felt by lyricist Han Myung-hee when, as an ROTC Army Second Lieutenant, he discovered a rotting wooden post and a pile of stones in the Baegamsan valley, a site of fierce battles where over 40,000 soldiers fell. We sincerely hope for the realization of the wishes of Mr. Han, who has been praying for the country without letting the 'Flame of Patriotism' extinguish in his home for over 16 years.
The majestic orchestra and the heart-wrenching cello solo that fill the video have been reborn into flawless, high-resolution audio through FL Studio's Stretch pro algorithm, capturing even the faintest resonant tremors of the heavy and sorrowful 61 BPM melody. Additionally, to ensure the profound respect for such noble sacrifices is fully conveyed, we directed the video calmly so that you can deeply immerse yourself in the soft voice reciting the poem.
Although there was a disappointing day when the passionate cheers of the entire nation faded away due to an unexpected defeat against South Africa in the third round of the World Cup group stage, we must leave our regrets behind and walk forward in reality toward tomorrow.
We sincerely wish that the month of July is filled with peace and blessings for the families and workplaces of our Torchlight Scholarship Foundation members.

「我が祖国、大韓民国の歴史と国土が永遠に続くように…」
こんにちは、（財）フェップル（松明）奨学会です。
去る6月25日は、朝鮮戦争が勃発してから76周年となる日でした。
今月、会員の皆様にお送りするご挨拶の手紙は、国民的歌曲「碑木（ピモク）」の誕生秘話とともにお届けします。作詞家のハン・ミョンヒ先生がROTC陸軍少尉時代、戦死者だけで4万人に達した最激戦地である白岩山（ペガムサン）の渓谷で、朽ち果てていく木の標柱と石の山を発見した際に感じた悲哀がそのまま込められた詩です。16年以上もの間、ご自宅で「護国の火」を絶やすことなく祖国のために祈り続けている先生の願いが、必ず叶うことを心から願っております。
映像を満たす荘厳なオーケストラと哀切なチェロのソロは、FL StudioのStretch proアルゴリズムを経て、61 BPMの重くも物悲しい旋律を、微かな共鳴の震えに至るまで、無欠点の高解像度オーディオとして生まれ変わらせました。また、崇高な犠牲を悼む心が完全に行き届くよう、落ち着いた映像演出を施し、柔らかな詩の朗読の声に深く没入できるようにご用意いたしました。
ワールドカップのグループリーグ第3戦で南アフリカに呆気なく敗れ、全国民の熱い応援が色褪せてしまった残念な日もありましたが、私たちはその無念さを後にして、再び明日に向かって現実を歩んでいかなければなりません。
7月の1ヶ月間も、フェップル奨学会の会員の皆様のご家庭と職場に、平安と祝福が満ち溢れることを心よりお祈り申し上げます。
