Hello, this is Melody Roadtrip.
Today, our stop at the station of memories is Han Hye-jin's masterpiece, 'Night of Seoul', released in 1999, which mournfully sings of the deep sense of loss hidden within the city's glamour.
The night streets of Seoul, where neon signs dance, are the space of first love where one whispered happiness with a loved one, and also a space of sorrow left alone after letting them go. The poetic lyrics that even the neon signs cry sorrowfully and fade away make our hearts ache.

今日私たちが立ち止まる思い出の停留所は、1999年に発表され、都市の華やかさの中に隠された深い喪失感を切なく歌い上げたハン・ヘジン氏の名曲、『ソウルの夜』です。
ネオンサインが踊るソウルの夜の街は、愛する人と幸せを囁き合った初恋の空間であり、今では愛しい人を見送って一人残された悲しみの空間でもあります。ネオンサインまでもが悲しく泣いて消えてしまうという詩的な歌詞が、胸を締め付けます。
