1954年にペク・ソリが発表した韓国歌謡史の不朽の古典、『春の日は過ぎゆく』（ソン・ロウォン作詞／パク・シチュン作曲）を、深い孤独が漂うインストゥルメンタル・トロット・ブルースとして再解釈しました。
朝鮮戦争直後の痛みと人生の無常を歌ったこの曲は、多くの詩人たちが「最も美しい歌詞」の1位に選んだ名曲です。今回の Melody Roadtrip バージョンは、独り酒を酌み交わしながら過ぎ去った歳月を回想する男の告白のように、遅く、よろめくようなルバート・テンポと、むせび泣くアルトサックスの旋律で描き出しました。
