깨끗한 물로 씻은 듯한 잎새와 붉은 장미, 아카시아 꽃타래가 눈부신 싱그러운 6월의 인사를 전합니다.

이번 달 안부 서신은 자연의 생명력을 노래한 이해인 시인의 맑은 시 '6월엔 내가' 낭독으로 문을 엽니다. 아름다운 계절 이면에서 여전히 고통받는 지구촌의 난민들과, 깊은 책임감과 뼈를 깎는 혁신이 요구되는 우리 사회의 현주소를 함께 짚어봅니다.

아울러 76년 전의 아픈 피난길을 되돌아보며, 조국을 위해 붉은 피를 흘리신 선열들과 젊은 영령들의 고귀한 희생을 가슴 깊이 새기는 현충일의 의미를 되새겨 봅니다. 잔잔하게 흐르는 '보고 싶은 얼굴'의 선율과 함께, 회원님들의 가정에 평안과 깊은 사색의 시간이 깃드시기를 기원합니다.

"In June, I will live even more for the one I love, becoming a rock content to lie on the mountainside and be struck by the cold rain..." 

Hello, members of the Torch Scholarship Foundation. 

We send our fresh June greetings, dazzling with leaves that look as if washed with clean water, red roses, and clusters of acacia flowers.

This month's greeting letter opens with a reading of poet Lee Hae-in's clear poem, 'In June, I', which sings of nature's vitality. Behind this beautiful season, we reflect together on the refugees around the world who are still suffering, as well as the current state of our society, which demands a deep sense of responsibility and bone-aching innovation.

Furthermore, looking back on the painful evacuation journey of 76 years ago, we reflect on the true meaning of Memorial Day, deeply engraving in our hearts the noble sacrifices of our ancestors and young souls who shed their blood for our country. Along with the gently flowing melody of 'The Face I Miss', we pray that peace and a time of deep contemplation will reside in your homes.

「6月には、私が愛する人のためにもっと生き、山のふもとにうつ伏せになり、冷たい雨に打たれてもよい岩になる…」 

こんにちは、(財) 炬火奬學會 会員の皆様。 

きれいな水で洗ったような葉と赤いバラ、アカシアの花房がまぶしい、爽やかな6月のご挨拶を申し上げます。

今月の安否のご案内は、自然の生命力を詠んだイ・ヘイン詩人の清らかな詩『6月には私が』の朗読で幕を開けます。美しい季節の裏側で今も苦しんでいる地球村の難民たちと、深い責任感と身を削るような革新が求められる私たちの社会の現在地を共に振り返ります。

さらに、76年前の痛ましい避難の道のりを振り返り、祖国のために赤い血を流した先烈たちと若い英霊たちの尊い犠牲を胸深く刻む、顕忠日（ヒョンチュンイル：戦没者追悼記念日）の意味を噛み締めます。静かに流れる『会いたい顔』の旋律と共に、会員の皆様のご家庭に平安と深い思索の時間が訪れることを祈願いたします。
