Hello, this is Melody Roadtrip. Today, our stop at the station of memories is the immortal 1966 masterpiece by Patti Kim, 'Chou' (Grass Rain).
We have rearranged this track into a deep and slow Trot-Blues, capturing the pure essence of the 1970s Korean night mood. By stripping away artificial jazz techniques, we focused entirely on the thick vibrato and 'sobbing' pitch bends of the tenor saxophone, steeped in the traditional Korean sentiment of 'Han' (sorrowful longing).

こんにちは、Melody Roadtrip です。 今日私たちが立ち止まる思い出の停留所は、1966年に発表されたパ티・キム（Patti Kim）氏の不朽の名曲『初雨（チョウ）』です。
今回の楽曲は、1970年代の韓国におけるナイトムードの真髄を込め、非常にゆっくりと深く濃厚なスロー・トロット・ブルースとして編曲しました。 人為的なジャズの技巧を削ぎ落とし、韓国特有の「恨（ハン）」が宿るテナーサックスの太いバイブレーションと、嗚咽するようなピ치ベンドにのみ集中しました。
