Hello, this is Melody Roadtrip. Today, our stop at the station of memories is the 1987 masterpiece 'Encounter' (Ha-hu), personally written and composed by Choi Sung-soo.
We have rearranged the original's poignant atmosphere into a new melody at a slow 70 BPM, blending the sensibilities of 1980s Korean ballads with soulful Blues-Trot fusion. In place of vocals, the "sobbing" tenor saxophone and electric guitar pour out the earnest longing left behind after a parting.
